The Meinertzhagen Trophy is the prestigious 3-way inter-club photographic prints competition held each year since 1933 between Bexleyheath PS, Dartford and District PS and Aperture Woolwich PS. This year the trophy was awarded to Aperture Woolwich with an average score of 19.25, one of the highest scores in the competition's long history.Five AWPS prints were awarded the top mark of 20 points, these were:
'Saint Pauls in the spotlight' by Andy Linden LRPS
'Tower Bridge Stairs' by Dave Mason
'Florence' by Stu Mayhew
'Dover Harbour Station' by Marshall Pinsent
'Gent' (shown above) by Darren Woolway LRPS was also awarded overall 3rd place in the competition.
Two AWPS prints scored 19:
'Poppies' by Dawn O'Connor
'Boatman's Hut' by Marshall Pinsent
'Godrevy Lighthouse' by Ted Summers
